Party and Performance Night ~ Saturday, June 2nd!

We are also having a great performance night and a party on Saturday, June 2nd!  You can bring your art work to share.  Just contact Yvonne (yrueegg@gmail.com) with the details of your performance.  Also, sign up here if you would like to take part and add what you would like to bring along.  Everyone bring your own barbeque meat.  It's going to be a wonderful evening! This Thursday at The Living Room: Lydia Meier's Poetry and Yellow Cake with Strawberry Filling & Chocolate Sour Cream Frosting

The Living Room is this Thursday, April 5th, 7-9PM! To celebrate spring, we're offering homemade Yellow Cake with Strawberry Filling and Chocolate Sour Cream Frosting. Yum. There wasn't enough time during the last meeting to share all the great talent, so this month we have a special time for Lydia Meier to read her poetry and share the motivation for her writing with us. As always, there will be good food, inspiring art, and great times had by all. We hope to see you there!

The Living Room Gatherings a great success ~ Upcoming Gathering April 5th, 7-9PM

Our gatherings are becoming more and more fun and packed with meaning.

We've seen the work of wedding dress designer, Christine O'Kennedy, and heard the poetry of Lydia Meier.

Hilarie Burke shared the Critical Response Format developed by The Dance Exchange in Washington D.C. and Zipporah Wood gave an impromptu gospel performance and received great feedback, moderated by Hilarie using this helpful new method.

Thanks to Christine, Lyida, Hilarie, Zipporah, and to Robert Young for bringing the fantastic spread of great food!

It's a short month, and March 1st is quickly here, so mark your calendars for a great evening of food, art, and discussion. We'll have Robert Young's famous sausage rolls, a poem by Lydia Meier, and a discussion about giving and receiving feedback with Hillarie Burke. We'll also discuss our exciting plans for The Living Room in the upcoming year 2012, including Creative Saturday on March 24th!
As always, there will be art displayed and good times had by all.

Creative Saturday ~ March 24th!

Need space and time to do your creative work? How about some inspiration? Creative Saturdays are designed to give you just that. We'll gather at Yvonne Rüegg's amazing home (Grundstrasse 43, 8424 Embrach) for a day of inspiration, workshops, personal time for your art, meals together, and evening performances. There are lots of ways you can be involved and contribute to this exciting day.
